Card changes from 1 October 2026
NAB has announced lower earn rates, a higher fee for new applications and a higher purchase rate from 1 October 2026. Everything on this page reflects the current card, which applies until 30 September 2026. If this card is on your shortlist, the announced changes shift the maths, so factor them in before you apply.
About the NAB Qantas Rewards Signature
This is NAB's dedicated Qantas card, separate from the NAB Rewards range. Points land directly in your Qantas Frequent Flyer account each month, free Qantas Frequent Flyer membership is included, and the welcome offer pairs a large points bonus with a straight cashback.
The bonus arrives in two parts: 100,000 points plus $250 cashback after the initial spend target, then 30,000 points for keeping the card past 12 months. Note the exclusion window: anyone who holds or has held a personal NAB Qantas card is not eligible for the bonus.
Do not confuse this card with the NAB Rewards Signature, which earns NAB Rewards points that cannot be converted to Qantas Points. If Qantas is the goal, this is the NAB card that gets there.

FAQs
How do I earn the 130,000 bonus Qantas Points with the NAB Qantas Rewards Signature?
You earn 100,000 bonus Qantas Points plus $250 cashback when you spend $5,000 on everyday purchases within 90 days of account opening, and a further 30,000 points when you keep the card for over 12 months. The bonus is not available if you hold or have held a personal NAB Qantas card.
Does the NAB Qantas Rewards Signature earn Qantas Points directly?
Yes. It earns 1 Qantas Point per $1 on everyday purchases straight into your Qantas Frequent Flyer account, up to $5,000 spend per statement period (nothing past $20,000), then 0.5 per $1. Eligible Qantas products and services earn an extra point per dollar, and free Qantas Frequent Flyer membership is included.
What is changing on this card from 1 October 2026?

The figures on this page are the current ones and apply until 30 September 2026.
